Kahului Walmart store manager Chris Pierce and the store associate team has set a fundraising goal is $60,000 this year. As of Saturday morning, they were at $57,485.33. The campaign ends today, Sunday, July 7. 

The goal of Walmart Wellness Day is to help customers get back on track with preventive health measures they may have missed over the past year, especially as many families prepare for in-person work and school this fall.

Walmart paid an additional $880,000 in quarterly bonuses to its Hawai’i associates in their Nov. 25 paychecks, following a strong third-quarter business performance.
