The Sentry returns to The Plantation Course at Kapalua, Jan. 2-5 with 60 of the PGA TOUR’s best officially committed to the season-opening event of the 2025 FedExCup Season.

With his victory at the Procore Championship, Patton Kizzire became the most recent player to qualify for The Sentry, and 21 of the 24 Presidents Cup team members are currently qualified for the PGA TOUR’s annual trip to Maui. The Sentry returns to The Plantation Course at Kapalua Jan. 2-5, 2025.

Scottie Scheffler, Jordan Spieth, Tony Finau, Rickie Fowler and Justin Rose are among the final field of 59 set to tee it up Jan. 4-7 at The Sentry tournament, which kicks off the 2024 PGA Tour season.

Currently, 38 players have qualified for the Maui golf championship — 28 by heir PGA Tour victories this season and 10 by finishing in the top 30 of the final FedExCup standings in August.

Dancers from the Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu, performed vignettes from their show “Ha”, translated as the breath of life, to open the 2012 Hyundai Tournament of Champions on Maui. The performance cleared the way for champion golfers to make a statement at Kapalua under clear skies and a view of breaking waves on the shores of Honolua and Mokuleia Bays below.
