Maui Now Survey: Respondents Divided on Coronavirus Concerns, Majority Very Concerned About Economy

Responses for the survey were collected for seven days between Monday, Sept. 20 to Sunday, 26, 2021. Announcements to the public to take the survey were posted on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and the Maui Now website.

May 9, 2021 COVID-19 Update: 84 Cases (52 O‘ahu, 16 Maui, 8 Hawai‘i Island, 0 Kaua‘i, 8 Out-of-State); One Death on Maui

The state Department of Health reports that there were 81 additional COVID-19 cases reported in Hawai‘i on Friday, including 49 on O‘ahu, 16 on Maui, 8 on Hawai‘i Island and eight in Hawai‘i residents diagnosed while out of state. There was one new death on Maui, bringing the total for the island to 53.

There were 132 new COVID-19 cases reported in Hawai‘i on Friday, including 98 on O‘ahu, 19 on Maui, five on Hawaiʻi Island, one on Kauaʻi, and nine in Hawaiʻi residents diagnosed outside of the state.

There were 241 new COVID-19 cases reported in Hawai‘i on Friday, including 190 on O‘ahu, 28 on Maui, 13 on Hawaiʻi Island, 1 in Kauaʻi and 9 in Hawaiʻi residents diagnosed outside of the state. There is one new death on Oʻahu.

There were 120 new COVID-19 cases reported in Hawai‘i on Friday, including 84 on O‘ahu, 20 on Maui, 3 each on Hawaiʻi Island and Kauaʻi, and 10 Hawaiʻi residents diagnosed out of the state.

There were 120 new COVID-19 cases reported in Hawai‘i on Thursday, including 95 on O‘ahu, 17 on Maui and 8 on Hawaiʻi.

Drive-Through COVID-19 Testing in Pukalani on Wednesday, Dec. 9

A free drive-through COVID-19 testing will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 9, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mayor Hannibal Tavares Community Center in Pukalani.

Doctors On Call, Maui’s Urgent Care clinic, reopens on August 10. Located at Times Shopping Plaza in Lahaina, the clinic will be open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. No appointment is needed and walk-ins are accepted. New primary care patients are also welcome.
