The event will focus on practical strategies for organizing homes and lives, with a special emphasis on planning for getting older, an essential topic for senior South Maui residents.

Dawn Pfendler of the Hawaii Animal Rescue Foundation will speak Oct. 15 during a meeting of the Rotary Satellite Club of Kīhei-Wailea.

The Rotary Satellite Club of Kīhei-Wailea will hear from Moana Peleiholani-Blankenfeld with Mālama Maui Nui, who will share the organization’s mission, vision and goals. She will discuss the work that MMN has done in Maui Nui over the last 30-plus years.
