The Sentry returns to The Plantation Course at Kapalua, Jan. 2-5 with 60 of the PGA TOUR’s best officially committed to the season-opening event of the 2025 FedExCup Season.

The Sentry today announced the return of Ludvig Åberg, Wyndham Clark, Hideki Matsuyama, Collin Morikawa, and Xander Schauffele to The Plantation Course at Kapalua when the PGA TOUR’s Opening Drive begins at The Sentry from Jan. 2-5.

As The Sentry returns to Maui for the PGA TOUR’s Opening Drive, tournament officials in collaboration with SERVPRO announced the return of complimentary ticket programs for first responders and military. The Plantation Course at Kapalua will once again play host to the TOUR’s season-opening event from January 2-5, 2025.

Tournament officials from The Sentry today announced ticket options for the 2025 event when the first Signature Event of the PGA TOUR Regular Season returns to The Plantation Course from Jan. 2-5 (Thursday through Sunday). As part of the TOUR’s Opening Drive, The Sentry is the season-opening event for the 2025 FedExCup Regular Season as it returns to a calendar-year schedule for the second consecutive year.

The 2019 Sentry champion Xander Schauffele picked up his second major championship title and second victory of the 2024 season at The Open Championship, while Nick Dunlap captured his second win of the season at the Barracuda Championship. The Sentry welcomes PGA TOUR winners from the previous calendar year and the top 50 players from the final FedExCup Playoffs and Eligibility Points List when the event returns to The Plantation Course at Kapalua, Maui from Jan. 2-5, 2025.

From exclusive food offerings to prime views in golf, there will be plenty for fans to enjoy when The Sentry returns to The Plantation Course at Kapalua from Jan. 4-7, 2024.

The Sentry announced a complimentary ticket program in partnership with SERVPRO for first responders on Maui. The initiative aims to offer a day of community spirit to acknowledge the service and commitment of these workers following the Aug. 8 wildfires. Local first responders are invited to The Plantation Course at Kapalua from Jan. 4-7 for the PGA TOUR’s season-opening event.

The PGA TOUR announced it will return to fire-stricken Maui in January for the 2024 edition of the tournament now called “The Sentry,” taking place at the Plantation Course in Kapalua.

The Sentry Tournament of Champions returns to The Plantation Course at Kapalua from Jan. 4-8 with 39 of the PGA TOUR’s best officially committing to the TOUR’s annual stop on Maui.

“From exclusive food offerings to the best views in golf, attending the Sentry Tournament of Champion is a celebration of Maui and offers an experience for every fan,” according to tournament organizers.

At the 2023 Sentry Tournament of Champions, for every one adult admission two kids age 15 or under can get in free.

Currently, 38 players have qualified for the Maui golf championship — 28 by heir PGA Tour victories this season and 10 by finishing in the top 30 of the final FedExCup standings in August.

The Sentry Tournament of Champions is now accepting volunteer registration for the 2023 event, which returns for the 25th year to The Plantation Course at Kapalua, Jan. 4-8, 2023.

First-time PGA Tour winners Tom Kim of South Korea and Dallas resident Will Zalatoris have qualified for the Sentry Tournament of Champions on Maui.

Maui’s PGA Tour event, the Tournament of Champions at The Plantation Course, has secured Sentry Insurance as its title sponsor through 2035.

The Sentry Tournament of Champions announced its final field of competitors for the upcoming event, with 39 PGA TOUR winners from the 2021 calendar year officially committing to the PGA TOUR’s annual stop on Maui.

The Sentry Tournament of Champions features new fan activations and expanded food options at the Taste of Maui and FanTime on Nine when the event returns to The Planation Course at Kapalua from Jan. 5-9, 2022.

At the Sentry Tournament of Champions that runs Jan. 5-9, a new fan feature, the Art Walk presented by Maui Jim, will have original artwork for viewing and online auction between hole Nos. 3 and 9 at The Planation Course at Kapalua.

World No. 1 Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, and Tony Finau – all competitors during the recent Ryder Cup – are the latest players to commit to the 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions winners-only event when it returns to The Plantation Course at Kapalua from January 5-9.
