The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands has prepared legislative proposals to be recommended for inclusion in the Governor’s next legislative package following a solicitation for public input.

Speaker of the House Joe Souki of Maui has appointed Denise Antolini to serve on the Nominating Committee for the Commission on Water Resource Management.

The Commission on Water Resource Management continues a public hearing on Maui today to gather testimony on existing water use at Na Wai ‘Eha.

The State is seeking nominations to the Commission on Water Resource Management.  A Nominating Committee will screen the applicants and send to the Governor the names of at least three individuals for a single open position.
