40 Nominees Get Initial Backing for Maui Boards & Commissions

Members of the Maui County Council’s Policy Committee gave initial approval yesterday to 40 nominees being considered for various Boards and Commissions. They plan to revisit seven nominees for consideration to respective posts during a subsequent meeting.

Policy Committee to Review Nominees to Maui Boards & Commissions

The council must approve or disapprove of the nominations by a March 31, 2012 deadline, or the nominations will be deemed approved.
