The Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation and its traffic safety partners held a kickoff at Aloha Stadium to declare the week of Nov. 18-24 as Crash Responder Safety Week.

The state Department of Accounting and General Services and the Stadium Authority announced the approval of Aloha Halawa District Partners as the preferred offeror for the New Aloha Stadium Entertainment District and that the NASED process is on track to open the new Aloha Stadium for the 2028 University of Hawaiʻi football season.

The Maui High School football team was unable to slow Farrington in the second half, falling to the Governors tonight 22-6 in a First Hawaiian Bank Division I State Championship quarterfinal game at Aloha Stadium on Oahu.

To be specific, the sixth-ranked Farrington High School Governors are bigger than big, said Maui High School head coach David Bui.
