With the real property tax deadline this Monday, August 22, the County of Maui is reminding the public of a recent law change that states that delinquent taxpayers will lose their homeowner’s exemption, resulting in high taxes.

Today, the County Department of Public Works announced three roadway projects are scheduled to begin in the next two months and include the Kihei Roundabout at Piikea and Liloa, the restriping of Maalaea Road, and the resurfacing of Piilani Highway west of Kaupo.
