Looking Ahead
Light winds are expected to hold through Friday. Sea breezes could generate light showers over leeward and interior areas Friday afternoon. The trades are expected to return during the weekend with shower activity shifting to windward and mauka areas. A front passing well to the north of the islands will briefly bring back light wind conditions on Monday, then the trades quickly return on Tuesday.

Variable winds are forecast from 5 to 15 mph today. Mostly sunny skies are expected with some cloud cover increase in the afternoon for interior and leeward locations as the sea breeze kicks up. Hazy skies are also expected under these conditions. High temperatures from 80° to 85° but will feel warmer due to the heat index.

Trade winds are expected around 15 mph tonight with scattered windward and mauka showers and isolated leeward showers. Low temperatures from 65° to 70°.
