Looking Ahead
A strong cold front is expected to reach Kauai mid Saturday morning and Oahu and Maui Saturday afternoon. The front is forecast to stall and dissipate over Maui County Saturday night and Sunday. Breezy southwesterly winds are expected along and ahead of the front with showers and a chance of thunderstorms.

We have southwest winds today around 15 to 25 mph, gusting to 40mph. High temperatures are forecast from 78° to 83°. Locally heavy rainfall is possible with frequent showers and a chance of thunderstorms. On Sunday, mostly cloudy skies are expected with isolated windward and mauka showers and southwest winds decreasing in strength but still breezy.
