UH Maui Offers Free APEC Conference Training

The public will have the opportunity to learn about the significance of the upcoming Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders’ Week conference in November in Honolulu. It’s a free training program being offered at the University of Hawaii Maui College through the newly named “EdVenture” department.

UHMC EdVenture is now offering a Complimentary Training on Sept 22 from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Laulima Building Kahului Campus while space is available.

This four hour training includes information on background and relevance of the APEC Conference, and information on the integrated customer service approach to “aloha” for hospitality and Hawaiian cultural training.

Students will need to fill out some forms and have a valid driver’s license (to be copied) to attend this free class. The University of Hawaii, Maui College, Office of Continuing Education & Training, EdVenture (VITEC), can be contacted at 808-984-3461 or email to [email protected].
