The Lahaina Yacht Club hosts its 35th Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, with a 7:30 a.m. best ball scramble and shotgun start. Checkin starts at 6:30 a.m.

Trained coaches deliver the programs to kids and teens ages 7 to 17, helping build their inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience – preparing them for the future. Using the game of golf as the platform, participants learn critical life skills to help them grow socially, emotionally and academically.

With the state loosening water restrictions in West Maui on Saturday, workers soon will begin implementing the plan to bring back the dying greens and fairways at the Plantation Course at Kapalua and save the tournament that provides a $50 million boost to the local economy.

Mākena Golf & Beach Club and Maui Food Bank will partner to host “Hope on the Fairway,” a charity golf tournament, on Sunday, Sept. 28. Maui Food Bank will receive 100% of the proceeds from the event. 

First Tee – Hawaiʻi and Wailea Golf Club are teaming up to host a First Tee Family Day on Saturday, Aug. 30, celebrating the launch of First Tee classes at the Wailea course.
