“With the recession we’re in, it’s inspiring to see the Molokai community get together and celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit that is the backbone of our business community,” said Robert Stephenson, president of the Molokai Chamber of Commerce. “Most of our businesses are small, each with just a handful of people working toward the common goal of strengthening our economy and creating jobs so we can all provide for our families.”

Throughout the day top chefs from Maui will create and dish up unique recipes using Molokai products, which will also be offered for sale so everyone can get a taste.

2011 Chef Lineup includes: Chef Sherwood Hiro, Hotel Molokai; Chef Christopher Schobel Hula Grill Kaanapali; Chef Dean Louie, Maui Culinary Academy; Chef Chris Speere, Maui Culinary Academy; and Chef Ryan Ferguson, Leilani’s on the Beach.
