The Old Wailuku Inn at Ulupono invites you to join in an open house celebrating the holiday season and a benefit for Hökülani Holt’s hälau hula, Päü O Hiiaka.

Lei of Aloha 5 runs from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2011.

Tickets are $25 in advance.  (Note: advanced tickets must be purchased an picked up in advance).  Tickets can be purchase by calling the Inn at (808) 244-5897.  Tickets are also available at the door.

The Old Wailuku Inn at Ulupono is located at 2199 Kaho’okele Street.

Free parking is available along Malako St. alongside Wailuku Elementary School.

While on the grounds, visitors can tour the historic Old Wailuku Inn and celebrate the genteel Hawai’i of the 1930s with wonderful music and hula and readings of Don Blanding’s poetry.

There will be traditional craft demonstrations and items will be available for purchase.

Light snacks and beverages will be served.

Organizers request that guests bring a non-perishable food item or cash donation for the Maui Food Bank.
