There were a total of 3 vehicle thefts on Maui in the seven day period between January 8 and 14, 2012.

Isolated incidents were reported in Haiku at the Haiku Community Center, in Kahului fronting Hale Mahaolu Elua, and in Kihei on Hoano Place.

The types of vehicles taken were all mopeds.

Haiku:

  • Monday, 1/9/12, 1:27 p.m.:  Hana Highway at the Haiku Community Center.  2006 Yellow 49CC Mosquito Moped.

Kahului:

  • Saturday, 1/14/12, 12:11 p.m.:  South Wakea Avenue fronting Hale Mahaolu Elua.  2011 White Buddy Moped.  VIN#: RFVPAP5A7C1009028
