Maui Loses Top Rank for Resort Spas

Seven out of 20 top spa resorts in Hawaii are on Maui, according to Conde Nast Traveler’s 2012 readers poll of the top spa resorts in Hawaii.

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai on the Big Island grabbed the number one spot with Maui’s Grand Wailea moving up one spot to number two from last year.

In 2012, The Spa at Travaasa Hana on Maui was named the top resort spa, however, it did not make the 2013 list.

The Maui resort spas that made the top 20 are:

  • Grand Wailea (#2)
  • Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa (#4)
  • Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua (#8)
  • Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea (#10)
  • Westin Maui Resort & Spa (#15)
  • Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa, Ka1anapali (#17)
  • Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa (#18)

Another Maui County resort also placed on the list, the Four Seasons Resort Lana`i at Manele Bay placed #13.
