Verizon Wireless Offers Smartphone Workshops

Verizon Wireless is offering a series of community workshops on smartphone and tablet set up and customization.
Company experts will be on hand to guide attendees through all stages of smartphone technology including review of basic features, exploring hardware functions, and optimizing the user experience.
Classes are free, and participants must register online at the following direct LINK. (Workshops can be found by searching by location and topic.)

Android: Getting Started Workshop: Master the basics of your new Android device with this exclusive workshop. Learn customizable features, hardware functions and much more. The workshops are planned on three days including: July 28, 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.; and Aug. 11, 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.; and Aug. 25, 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.
Apple iPhone: Getting Started: Learn all about the great features of your new iPhone including Maps, Siri (only on specific models), Facetime, and more. Verizon Wireless experts will help you get the most out of your new device. Four workshops will be held on the following days: July 28 at 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.; Aug. 4, 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.; Aug. 11, 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.; Aug. 18, 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.; and Aug. 25, 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.
Blackberry 10: Getting Started Workshop: Get a jumpstart on your new Blackberry10 device. Attend this workshop and learn hardware functions, and exclusive features like, Blackberry Maps, Blackberry Messenger and Blackberry Reminder. The workshop will be held on Aug. 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.
Windows Phone: Getting Started Workshop: Verizon Wireless experts show you how to use hardware functions and essential features like setting up your email, using People Hub, Navigation Tips, Camera, Kid’s Corner and more. The workshop will be held on Aug. 4, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.
