Home sales on Maui were down in October from the same time last year with a total of 80 homes sold for a median price of $564,000, according to new data released by the Realtors Association of Maui.
That’s 15 units less than what was sold in the previous month, and 2 units less than the 82 units that were sold at the same time last year.
The median price of homes sold on Maui was down $6,000 from September, and up $24,000 from the same time last year, according to the report.
The greatest number of homes sold in October were in Central Maui where 28 homes sold for a median price of $499,500, followed by Kīhei where 10 homes sold for a median of $706,950, according to RAM data.
The Realtors Association of Maui reported an increase in condo sales from month before levels with 94 units sold in October–that’s up 14 units from the previous month, but down 4 units from the same time last year.
The median price for a condo in October was $407,000, down from the September median of $462,500, and up from the $347,500 price tag at the same time last year, according to the RAM.
The greatest number of condos sold in October was in Kīhei where 31 condos sold for a median price of $304,000, followed by Central Maui where 18 condos sold for a median of $324,000, according to RAM data.
