Mark Twain to Return to Pioneer Inn in October

Maui actor Rick Scheideman will return to the Pioneer Inn in Lahaina as Mark Twain. An Evening with Mark Twain will open with a preview on Oct. 9 and run on Friday nights from Oct. 23 through Dec. 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the Pioneer Inn courtyard.

With humor and wisdom, Twain will share aspects of his fascinating life, including his time on Maui.

“From Mark Twain, to Einstein, to Sitting Bull, this actor has the ability to look and be almost unidentifiable from one show to the next,” said theater critic Michael Pulliam. “If acting skill combined with a Lon Chaney-esque “Man of a Thousand Faces” equals acting brilliance, then Scheideman is the best actor on Maui.”

A cash-bar will be provided. A talk story session will immediately following the performance.
