Maui Surf Forecast
North: Wave heights are expected to be waist/head high today.
West: Surf is waist high today or less. Spots catching the wrap will be bigger.
South: Surf is waist high today or less.
Mix of easing northwest energy and building north-northwest energy is expected this weekend. The energy will fade late Sunday into Monday. Trade swell will bring chest/head high waves to the best east exposures. Sets could get up to overhead but winds are gusting into the 50’s so blustery conditions are expected.
Nothing significant is expected out of the SPAC with minimal southern hemisphere swell around waist high or less this weekend. Small blend of overlapping southwest swells build in Sunday into Monday.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
