Maui Surf Forecast
North: Wave heights are expected to be chest/head high and easing through the day.
West: Surf is knee/thigh high today. Spots catching the wrap will be bigger.
South: Surf is waist high today or less.
West-northwest swell energy is expected to fade through the weekend. A mix of northwest and north-northeast swell are expected for the weekend. The north-northeast will filter in Friday. We are watching storm development for possible series of swells next week.
Nothing significant is expected out of the SPAC with minimal southern hemisphere swell around waist high or less today.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
