NNE, NW, Trade Swell Continues for Maui County

A High Surf Advisory is posted for the east sides of Maui and Molokai through 6 p.m. Monday.

Maui Surf Forecast
North: Wave heights are expected to be waist/head high waves today for north and east exposures. Northwest exposures up to thigh/chest high.
West: Surf is ankle/knee high today. Spots catching the wrap will be bigger.
South: Surf is waist high today or less.
North-northeast and east-northeast trade swell combo expected today.
Multiple pulses of swell energy out of the northwest are expected for this week. The first pulse is due to fill in Tuesday into Wednesday. A bigger swell is forecast to build Wednesday into Thursday with another pulse expected Friday and into the weekend.
Nothing significant is expected out of the SPAC with minimal southern hemisphere swell around waist high or less today.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
