As the Brothers Cazimero, the duo was inducted into the Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame in 2006.  Two years later, they earned the HARA Lifetime Achievement Award.

The brothers also hosted an annual Lei Day concert on Maui as part of the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Ho’onanea Series each year in May.

During the 2014 Maui concert, Roland Cazimero excused himself from the stage during a performance Maui Arts & Cultural Center and went to hospital for further evaluation after falling ill.  Media reports indicate that he had suffered from a lengthy illness and was recently hospitalized.
