Cause of Siren Malfunction Identified

Approximately one third of the emergency alert sirens on Maui and Molokaʻi sounded during a malfunction of the system early Friday morning. Officials say the malfunction was caused by a mechanical issue related to a recent upgrade of the siren warning system
