A young Kamehameha Schools Maui boys volleyball team pushed defending Maui Interscholastic League champion Baldwin to the brink of upset Wednesday before falling in five games, 24-26, 25-14, 25-12, 22-25, 17-15.

Seabury Hall’s Cameron King finished with a game-high 24 points Saturday as the Spartans of Olinda defeated Kohala, 57-45, en route to a third-place finish at the 2014 Division II state boys basketball tournament on Oahu.

The Kamehameha Schools Maui girls soccer team capped a perfect 12-0-0 season Tuesday, trouncing Maui High on its home field, 4-0, and spoiling the Sabers’ senior night.
