A second motorcycle accident in as many days has occurred on Maui’s roadways.  Maui police say a 44-year-old Kula man is in critical condition following the evening accident reported shortly after 7:30 last night on Omaopio Road, Upcountry.  The man lost control of the motorcycle he was operating and was ejected from the bike.  Authorities say he was not wearing a helmet.  A day before, on Wednesday, January 21st, 21-year-old Jonathan Davis suffered fatal injuries in a motorcycle accident on the Hana Highway.  Authorities are investigating speed as a possible factor in that incident.  Both incidents remain under investigation.
