As a singer and songwriter Jimmy Buffett has translated his easygoing GulfCoast character into a successful music with concert tours that have evolved into Mardi Gras-like affairs thanks to the hi-jinks, headgear and sing-alongs by the faithful fans he’s dubbed “Parrotheads.”

The flavor of Buffett’s “Coconut Telegraph” messages from Margaritaville are also carried through in his other successful careers as author, restauranteur and businessman!
