Tennis enthusiasts have a new place to play upcountry.  The County of Maui held a blessing Tuesday after completing $2.5 million worth of infrastructure improvements at the Kula Community Center.

The project included realignment of the driveway, installation of a water line and infrastructure work to address issues associated with the sloping terrain.  The project took 11 months to complete.  The two original tennis courts were built in August of 1997.
