BODY FOUND ON BIG ISLAND WAS THAT OF A MAUI WOMAN

A coroner’s inquest has been initiated in the death of a Maui woman found on the Big Island of Hawaii.
Authorities identified the woman as 41-year-old Davelin Aweau of Maui. The woman’s body was found off of Manawalea Street in Kailua-Kona early Tuesday morning and was transported to Kona Community Hospital where the woman was officially pronounced dead.
Kona patrol officers responded to the report at 4:23 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2009.
Authorities say there is no evidence of foul play. An autopsy is being conducted today to determine the exact cause of death.
