UPDATE: Rd Re-opened after Water Main Break

Crews completed work overnight to repair a broken water main on South Kihei Road. The incident forced a nearly 10 hour closure of a portion of the roadway between E. Waipuilani and Nohokai. The road was reopened shortly after 2 a.m. on Thursday, March 04, 2010. _______________________________________

A portion of South Kihei Road is closed due to a water main break reported on Wednesday afternoon, March 3, 2010. Maui Police say the closure is expected to extend into early Thursday morning while repairs are completed. The closure extend along South Kihei Road from East Waipuilani to Nohokai.
