Ed Case to File for Congressional Race

Ed Case will officially file papers today, (Thursday, March 4, 2010) for re-election to the U. S. House of Representatives in the upcoming May 22nd special election.
Case is expected to file at 2 p.m. at the Hawaii Office of Elections in Pearl City and will be joined by his wife, Audrey, and supporters.
Case served Hawaii in the U. S. House from 2002 to 2007. He earlier worked for three years on Capitol Hill for U. S. Representative/Senator Spark Matsunaga. He also served eight years in the Hawaii State Legislature, and has practiced law in Honolulu for most of the last three decades.
The 1st Congressional District seat was vacated by Neil Abercrombie over the weekend who resigned to focus on a run for Hawaii Governor.
