Refuse Not Picked Up in Parts of Upcountry, Paia Due to Staff Shortage

Trash pickup for some areas in Kula, Haiku and Paia did not receive refuse collection service today due to a staff shortage.

Affected areas include Copp Road, Haleakala Crater Road, Haleakala Highway, Holomakani Drive, Kamehamehaiki Road, Kekaulike Highway, Lower Kula Road, Haiku Road, Kahiko Street, Kokomo Road, Kuanana Street, Lilikoi Road, Waipua Street and other surrounding streets.

The missed areas are expected to be picked up tomorrow, Saturday, July 3.
