One man dead after altercation at Little Beach

A
One man is dead and another was arrested following an altercation at Little Beach last night (Saturday, July 3, 2010). The fight was reported at 7:20 p.m. at the area of Makena Beach Park known as Little Beach.
Maui Police say the victim died at the scene of injuries suffered from the fight. Positive identification of the victim is pending.
The responsible, identified as Wayne M. Daugaard, a 37-year-old Kihei man, was arrested without incident, and was transported to the Wailuku Police Station.
The case has been classified as a Murder in the second degree, and is pending further investigation.
