The Hawaii Meth Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing first-time methamphetamine, or “ice”, use among teens and young adults, is holding a volunteer meeting at Baldwin High School Thursday, July 22, from 6:00-7:00 p.m.  The meeting will be held in Portable 13, located near the lower parking lot by the school gym.

Interested volunteers of all ages are welcome to attend.  Past-year accomplishments will be highlighted and plans for August through December discussed.

The Hawaii Meth Project launched in June 2009, with a hard-hitting, integrated media campaign. The Hawaii Meth Project is affiliated with the Meth Project, a national non-profit organization headquartered in Palo Alto, California, aimed at significantly reducing first-time Meth use through public service messaging, public policy, and community outreach.
