South Maui’s Uluniu Kihei Reserve Area will be the topic of discussion at tonight’s meeting of the Governor’s Council of Neighbor Island Advisors for Maui.  State Department of Land and Natural Resources special projects coordinator, Morris Atta will provide an update report on the reserve, which is located about 1,000 feet south of Lipoa Street in Kihei.

The meeting starts at 5 p.m. at the Velma McWayne Santos Community Center in Wailuku.  The public is invited to attend.

Morris Atta, special projects coordinator with the Department of Land and Natural Resources, Land Division will give an update report on the Uluniu Kihei Reserve Area final agreement.

Governor Linda Lingle created councils of neighbor island advisors to give neighbor island residents a stronger voice in state government.
