Residents of Maui can learn more about their role in the legislative process during a workshop today in Kahului. The Public Access Room session was added to the series of meetings being held throughout the state to engage the public in the legislative process.

Attendees will find out how to deliver effective testimony, understand the session calendar, and tips on using the state’s Legislative website. The session runs from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Kahului Community Center. Light refreshments will be provided, courtesy the Office of Hawaiian Affairs.

A similar session is planned tomorrow from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Thursday, December 9th at the Wailuku Public Library located at 251 High Street.
