There can never be too many New Year’s parties. Or pre New Year’s parties, for that matter.

Especially when they involve the music of legendary rocker, mystic, and local hero, Mick Fleetwood.

In what promises to be an exhilarating week leading up to 2011, the Maui Celebrity Series rings out 2010 with a bang by presenting Mick Fleetwood with an all-star lineup of guests on Thursday, December 30th at 8 pm.

The star-studded show will feature special guests such as Carlos Santana, Brian Evans, William Shatner, Tom Arnold, Shawn Hatosy, and Cheech Marin. Other surprise special guests are slated as well. The musicians will perform throughout the night, individually and together on the same stage.

The predicted sellout crowd will gather at the epic Maui Theatre in Lahaina (home to the hit Hawaiian historical production, Ulalena) to dance, celebrate, and witness this gathering of greatness.

“I’m so excited for the show!” exclaimed Mary Nesbit, a tourist in town for the holiday season. “I can’t imagine a more epic way to spend my New Year’s than getting to see some of my favorite musicians in that gorgeous location!”

The Maui Theater, with its breathtaking inlaid marble floor and elegant stadium seating, holds a capacity of 680 people. Located on Lahaina’s Front Street, it boasts a top notch staging, lighting and sound system.

The Maui Celebrity Series (www.mauicelbrityseries.com) has been hosting these wildly successful events throughout the past year, to critical acclaim. Past shows have included Mos Def, Roseanne Barr, Rob Schneider and David Spade, to name a few.

The producers of the event, Tom Arnold and Brian Evans, are working to expand the series into a national television show.

For a pre New Years party that is going to be a full blown celebration, come out to Lahaina for the show on the 30th and stay for New Year’s eve!

Tickets are available by calling (808) 856-7973, or by visiting Ticketmaster.com or Expedia.com.
