On Saturday, January 22nd at 9:30 pm, Beats Bazaar and Mystic Island Festival present a night of gypsy soul grooves at Casanova’s in Makawao.

The night features a gypsy theme, (costumes requested) and a stellar lineup of the funkiest DJs and live musicians in the Maui scene.

DJ Sweet Beets will roll out her set of goddess dub and delicious grooves. DJ Plush will pump out luscious soul tunes. Then DJ Boogiemeister will amp up the party with global beats and bass magic.

The DJ sets will feature live musicians adding to the texture.

Interspersed with the DJ sets will be a live set with tracks by violinist & singer-songwriter Maesyn, playing her electric breed of gypsy-soul-funk.

The party is sponsored by Mandala Ethnic Arts. It is a pre-party and fundraiser for the much anticipated 4 day Mystic Island Festival.

Expect your auditory and visual senses to be activated with belly dance performances, live painting, and stunning visual projections by VJ Douglas Deboer.
