Surf will be in the 10-15 foot range along the north facing shores, and surf along the west facing shores will be 6-12 feet.  Surf is expected to remain elevated through the morning, then decrease this afternoon.

Beach goers are urged to stay out of the water and well away from the shore break because of strong rip currents, hazardous wave action and localized beach erosion.
