Short Stack on the House: Free Pancakes at IHOP
By Erica Garza

National Pancake Day returns to IHOP, offering patrons a free short stack when they make a donation.
On Tuesday March 1st, IHOP’s National Pancake Day will return for its sixth consecutive year, offering patrons a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes to raise money for children’s charities. To indulge in this fluffy, sweet treat, guests are asked to simply make a donation to a children’s charity on the same day.
In 2010, IHOP served four million free pancakes on National Pancake Day and diners donated more than $2.1 million to children’s charities. Since its inception in 2006, National Pancake Day has raised more than $5.35 million and cooked up more than 10.1 million pancakes to support charities in local communities.
Head to Maui’s IHOP at the Maui Mall, located at 70 E. Kaahumanu Avenue in Kahului. Although beloved for its pancakes, the eatery also offers other breakfast items such as waffles, omelets, crepes as well as burgers, sandwiches, ribs, chicken and more. Call IHOP for more information at (808) 871-4000.
