Willie K and Friends bring Electrifying Music to the MACC

Multiple Na Hoku Hanohano Award winner Willie K returns to the Maui Arts & Cultural Center (MACC) in April with a new show.

Willie K is currently performing with band members Jerry Byers and Kris Thomas, and is expected to bring more friends to the stage during the April 9th show at the Castle Theater.

A preview of the electrifying performance was delivered during the recent Party at the Pavilion show at the MACC.  Willie K’s charismatic and versatile approach includes a wide range of vocal styles and musical genres.

About Willie K:

Willie K has performed with, or opened for such musical giants as B.B. King, Santana, Al DiMeola, Willie Nelson, Prince, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Elvin Bishop, Bonnie Rait, Jackson Browne, Mick Fleetwood, George Benson and Jimmy Buffett.  In 2004, he also received his first Grammy nomination for a collaboration with Amy Gilliom on the “Amy & Willie Live” CD.
