Rock-n-roll’s Doobie Brothers and funk phenoms WAR are scheduled to perform tonight, Friday, April 1, 2011 at the new Yokouchi Pavilion.  Combined, the two groups bring four decades’ worth of hits to Maui.

Mega-hits from The DoobieBrothers include, “Listen To The Music,” “Rockin’ Down The Highway,” and “Takin’ It To the Streets.”

Meantime, 70s funk favorite WAR melds music from various genres including Latin, jazz, blues, reggae and rock influences.   Their political edge is delivered with a laid-back vibe in hit songs that include, “Low Rider,” “Cisco Kid,” and “The World Is A Ghetto.”

Ticket prices are: $45, $65, $85, with a limited number of $125 premium seats and table seating available.  Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m.
