Get Your Fill of Free Cheese at the Melting Pot
By Erica Garza
In honor of National Cheese Fondue Day, the Melting Pot in Lahaina is giving away free cheese fondue from April 11th to April 14th. Space is limited and reservations are required.
Open since May of 2008 at the Lahaina Gateway Center, the Melting Pot brings a do-it-yourself restaurant experience to Maui without compromising its upscale atmosphere. Promoting fun and interactive dining, the eatery boasts a menu of various cheese fondues, wines, salads and entrees of meat and seafood served with dipping sauces and oil or broth to be cooked in, as well as chocolate fondues.
Many patrons opt for the four-course dinner, also known as “Big Night Out.” Every six months, the restaurant offers a new Big Night Out featuring regional themes and flavors in a robust culinary experience that includes creamy cheese fondue, a fresh salad, delicious entrée and rich chocolate fondue dessert.
Maui’s Melting Pot offers weekly features like the Three-Course Fondue dinner on Mondays for $29.95 per person, nightly kama’aina discounts, Kids Eat Free and Starlight Story Time on Thursdays and Girls’ Night Out every third Tuesday of the month, featuring different Maui vendors from across the island, drink specials, raffles/prize giveaways and more.
To make a reservation for the cheese celebration taking place this week, call the Melting Pot at 808-661-6181.
