The movement seeks to create dramatic and lasting changes in the food system by reconnecting Americans with the people, traditions, plants, animals, fertile soils and waters that produce our food.
The Maui chapter has hosted numerous programs promoting sustainability on the island such as the Taste Education Series, which hosts workshops on coffee, mixology and chocolate.
Maui Now covers the latest food news and events throughout the island and appreciates suggestions. Please send tips or feedback to erica@mauinow.com.
