The Lahaina Restoration Foundation presents Mika & Friends at the March edition of its Hawaiian Music Series. The group will perform a free lunchtime concert on the shady Baldwin Home lawn facing Front Street from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2011.

Chairs are limited; blankets, mats and low beach chairs are welcome. This event is FREE!

The Lahaina Restoration Foundation is a Hawaii nonprofit organization that helps to restore, maintain and preserve the physical and cultural legacies and history of Lahaina, the first capital of the Kingdom of Hawaii.

The next featured artist in the Hawaiian Music Series will be Kawika Ho’opi’i, accompanied by Pali Ahue, and Na Maile Ku Honua on June 9, 2011.  The Hawaiian Music Series takes place once a month, traditionally on the second Thursday of the month.

Other upcoming events sponsored and supported by the Lahaina Restoration Foundation include the 3rd Annual Progressive Dinner Party on May 13th and 14th, and Na Namehameha Commemorative Pa’u Parade and Ho’olaule’a on June 18th.
