Furlough Results in Change to Residential Trash Collection

Residential refuse collection for Hana and Molokai residents will be on a Furlough Friday schedule on June 24, 2011. Normal Friday pick up for these areas will be changed to the following:

  • Hana: Friday refuse pickup will be picked up on Thursday June 23, 2011
  • Molokai:  Friday refuse pick up will be picked up on Wednesday June 22, 2011

Other areas of Maui and the island of Lanai will have normal pick up on Friday, June 24, 2011, with no change.  Questions should be directed to 248-8254 in Hana, 553-3221 on Molokai, and 270-7452 on Maui.

The adjustments are being implemented by the County of Maui, Department of Environmental Management.
