Landfill Hours Changed for Statehood Day

The County of Maui’s Department of Environmental Management announced that the hours of operation for the Central Maui Landfill, Olowalu Convenience Center and EKO compost will be changed on August 19, 2011 due to the Statehood Day Holiday. 

The following hours will be in effect:

Central Maui Landfill                     –     6 am – Noon

Hana Landfill                                  –     Normal hours  8 am – 2:30 pm

Molokai Landfill                             –     Normal hours  8 am – 2:30 pm

Lanai Landfill                                  –     Normal hours  8 am – 2:30 pm

Olowalu Convenience Center         –     8 am – Noon

EKO compost                                  –     6 am – Noon

Residential refuse collection services will be provided as normal on Friday August 19, 2011.
