Newt Gingrich To Speak On Maui

Newt Gingrich will bring his 2012 campaign for the Republication nomination for President to Wailuku when he speaks to members of The Tea Party and the Maui Republican Party.

Newt Gingrich is a former Speaker of the House, and became especially famous in 1994 as the “architect” of the “Contract with America” when the Republican Party captured the majority in the U.S. House for the first time in forty years.

The event will be held at the Door of Faith Church in Wailuku on Saturday, August 20, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.


On Monday morning, the New York Times is reporting that Newt Gingrich will discuss the founding of America with students at Seabury Hall school in Makawao.
