New UH Sports Channel Debuts With Soccer

What was widely described as the UH Channel has an official name. Oceanic Time Warner Cable said the new channel will be called OC Sports and will debut at on channels 12 on regular cable and on 1012 in HD starting this Friday night.
Kicking off the coverage of University of Hawaii sports is a 7 p.m. soccer match between the Rainbow Wahine and Washington State. It will be the first of about 100 live events that will be aired on OC Sports in the channel’s inaugural year.
High definition will be carried on channel 1012 while pay-per-view will remain on channel 255 and 1255 in HD.
